Process and Regulatory Standards Aerospace Stress Analysis, FAA and JAA certification requirements
Requirements and Design Failure analysis, finite elements, and methods of stress analysis, thermal effects, fatigue, and fracture mechanics.
Design Validation Develop & perform tests (stress, temperatures, material characterization), interpret test
results and calibrate analytical models;
Tools FEA Stress Hand Calculations, Working knowledge of Solidworks

Requirements and Design Define structural test requirements for laboratory and full-scale testing. Hand On Mandatory
Analysis Understanding of external loads, load paths and free body diagrams, aerospace materials and manufacturing processes. Hands On Preferred

Implementation ECO/ECN and Change Order implementation in PLM Expert Preferred

Strong knowledge of airframe structures

Minimum 12 years of experience, prefer 20 years of experience
To Do
Must have prior experience leading and participating in design and development of aircraft.
To Do
classical hand analysis experience and also experience with performing Lug Analysis, Bearing check, Buckling check, Section analysis, Fastener analysis..etc.
To Do
Experience presenting challenging program and technical issues to senior leadership.
To Do
Experience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) preferred.
To Do
Prefer strong knowledge of aircraft structural assembly including basic material compatibility, fastener and standard parts, and finishes.
To Do
Experience with modified aircraft flight testing preferred.
To Do
Experience with FAA Airworthiness Standards and Documentation, FAA Original Design Approval (ODA), and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) preferred.
